Case Study: Walking With The Wounded

People Champions and Walking With The Wounded Partnership

At Walking With The Wounded, we are committed to empowering those who have served and we know that to do this, we need a working environment which gives and builds safety, trust, and autonomy for all our staff, not just those on the front-line.

We recognise the role of our leaders in creating this environment and helping their teams to thrive; we see time and again how they do just this and it’s one of the reasons we think WWTW is a great organisation to work with.  We understand the pressure leaders can sometimes face in their roles and have invested in creating a space for them to communicate and develop.

We asked People Champions to deliver a coaching workshop to a small group of our managers as we believe that coaching is a highly effective way for our leaders to support their teams with agility, navigating the unique scenarios our clients face, as well as the future of our organisation as we continue to evolve.

We had a great experience working with Duncan and Julia who quickly developed a deep understanding of our veterans charity – the workshop was fun and engaging, and the 1:1 coaching sessions delivered after the workshop have been well received.
